GOVERNOR ORDERS SCHOOLS TO REMAIN CLOSED

Dear Beavercreek Families,

I am sure you are aware by now that Governor DeWine has ordered all Ohio schools to remain closed for the rest of this school year. Beavercreek City Schools will comply with this order and continue with online learning for all students. Parents should continue to communicate with their child’s teachers to access and utilize provided learning material.

Today’s developments force our district into a new phase of planning in order to close out the 2019-2020 school year. We will be communicating a new course of action that includes anticipated dates for graduation, last day of instruction, summer school, and many important matters that require our attention. We know you have several questions and we will provide you answers as soon as possible.

As always, any course of action our district takes will follow all recommendations, safety precautions, and standing orders that aim to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families at all times. I thank you for your patience and perseverance as we work through these challenging days.

Sincerely,

Paul Otten

Superintendent of Schools
