In light of the current statewide changes in education and Beavercreek City Schools utilizing district-provided devices to deliver educational opportunities for your children, we are working to give parents additional insight into their child's/children's browsing habits. By the end of next week (March 29th), we will have parent accounts setup in Securly, the district's web filter platform, so that you can view a log of Internet activity.
Securly tracks all district Internet traffic and blocks specific sites and site categories. The Securly parent portal will give you access to your child's/children's browser history as well as any flagged sites that they have visited. Additionally, you will receive weekly email updates from Securly showing a condensed view of the web log.
We will automatically set up access for the primary parent contact email address, so please watch for a welcome message from Securly. The below PDF provides additional guidance so you are prepared when you receive your account information.
