Delivery models for education within the constraints of a pandemic have highlighted the current status of home Internet access. The state has asked us to gather some information about the access our students currently have as part of an initiative to understand current capabilities while planning for the future.
We have added a question to the bottom of Part One of the Student Demographics, EMA, and Agreements form in OneView and ask that you log in and complete that question for each of your children (https://beavercreek.esvportal.com). Once you select your answer, please remember to scroll to the bottom and click the “Save & Submit to District” button.
Additional description of the answers:
- Internet Via Broadband: This child has internet connectivity primarily through cable, DSL, or some other non-cellular access method to use to complete schoolwork at their primary residence.
- Internet Via Hotspot: This child has internet connectivity primarily through cellular hotspot or cell phone to use to complete schoolwork at their primary residence.
- No Regular Access to Internet: This child does not have regular internet connectivity to use to complete schoolwork at their primary residence.
- Unknown: This child's internet connectivity for completing schoolwork at their primary residence is unknown.
