* Merit based - based on performance - academic, athletic, etc.

I’m Edward Wittig from the Wright State University Army ROTC Department. I am informing you of potential 3 year or 4 year scholarship options that high school seniors could be eligible for. If they were to be awarded a scholarship it will be good for the University that they listed in their application that has an Army ROTC Department. After this year’s board results, Wright State University Army ROTC Department will have 8 plus scholarship awardees for academic year fall 2020. Scholarship winners will be announced next year, accepting this scholarship means that they will graduate with their degree of choice and commission as an Officer (2LT) in the Army, Army Reserves or Ohio National Guard. There will be an Army ROTC Four-Year High School Scholarship board starting October 2020.
There are minimum requirements to be eligible for this board which include the following:
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Be between the ages of 17 and 26
• Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores)
• Meet physical standards
• Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard)
