BHS Seniors - Class of 2021

If you have application deadlines coming up, you need to have your transcripts submitted by the following dates:


** If you have a NOV 15 deadline - your transcript requests must be submitted by noon Nov. 13 in order to be processed.

** If you have a DEC 1 deadline - your transcript requests must be submitted by noon NOV. 20 in order to be processed as no one will be here over Thanksgiving Break to process them.


Before your transcripts can be processed, we MUST HAVE:

* Your parental Consent on file.

* Your Naviance and Common accounts must be linked.

Student Request Form - Letter of Recommendation - While this form is not required, it is often quite helpful.  This form can be given to teachers if a student asks them to write a letter of recommendation.  It gives the student the opportunity to list awards won, activities involved in, etc so teachers can write the best possible letter for the student.  Some may have other formats that are used and that is also fine.  If students utilize this form, they only have to fill it out once and make copies for their teachers.
** COMMON APP / NAVIANCE - This document is a step by step guide for students to set up their Common App and Naviance accounts (including screenshots). It is recommended that you use this guide first and then if you still have questions you come to the guidance office. Log-in information was given to students during Advisory in September. Students that do not have an advisory had this information emailed to them at their gocreek address.
  • Transcripts and letters of recommendation are requested through Naviance so you will need to get those accounts set up sooner than later.

  • Each college has unique deadlines so be sure to watch those deadlines closely.

** How to Start the FAFSA - it is recommended that EVERYONE applying to college complete the FAFSA even if you don’t think you will qualify for financial aid. It opens Oct. 1.  This document helps you get started with that process.  More information will come later about financial aid.
