Staff Vaccination Dates Announced
We are excited to announce that Beavercreek City Schools is declaring a staff “Vaccination Day” for Thursday, February 18. This effort aligns with Governor DeWine’s vaccination plan for school employees. Students will not be in attendance on this day. Transportation services will continue as planned to our non-public schools and the Greene County Career Center. This date may change based on the supply of the vaccine, however, families should make all necessary arrangements for their child on this date.
A second staff vaccination day of either Friday, March 12 or Friday, March 19 will take place and students will not be in attendance. Once this date is confirmed, we will communicate to our families so they may make necessary arrangements.
Virtual student families may choose to continue working or they may adjust their own schedule to complete weekly tasks without working on the staff vaccination dates. To avoid confusion for families, we will not be adjusting pacing to exclude these dates in the pacing calendars for Lincoln Learning or Edmentum.
Beavercreek City Schools continues to take all necessary precautions in order to maintain a safe learning environment during this pandemic. With the help of Premier Health that will be administering the vaccinations to our staff, we will provide another layer of protection against the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate your continued flexibility and cooperation during this pandemic.
