ACT Test Prep Seminar (provided by Next Level Prep)
This is a premium, cost-effective ACT prep seminar provided exclusively to BHS students. This seminar was offered to students last school year in October and in the Spring virtually. If your student is taking the ACT in October or December, this would be a great opportunity to hear about test taking strategies and begin prepping for the test with a workbook full of tips and practice questions that is provided by Next Level Prep. Information was shared with your students via their GoCreek email address. Students who attend the seminar will be responsible for any classwork missed that day.
Seminar Date: Tuesday, September 28th (8:15 am - 3:00 pm) in the BHS Auditorium
Registration Fee: $59 (click link below to register)
Students (grades 10 and 11) received information via their GoCreek emails about upcoming PSAT/NMSQT testing opportunities. Juniors can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship with this test.
Test Date: Saturday, October 16th (7:45 am - noon) students may not leave early for any reason
HOMECOMING 2021 "Under the Stars"
This year's Homecoming theme is "Under the Stars". The dance will be held on Saturday, October 9th from 8-11 pm in the BHS Fieldhouse. Please note - the location of the dance may need to be moved outdoors to accommodate COVID protocols. We appreciate your patience and understanding as things change daily. We will continue to monitor this situation with our Student Council representatives.
The Early Bird ticket price of $15 is in place through Friday, September 3rd.
From September 4th through October 1st, ticket prices are $20. No tickets will be sold after October 1st. No exceptions.
Ticket forms and guest forms (if the guest does not attend FH or BHS) are available in the BHS Main Office. Students need to return their ticket order forms, guest form (if applicable), and money in an envelope to the box in the Main Office. *If the student wishes to get the Early Bird price, this must be done by Friday, September 3rd. No exceptions.
If your student is quarantined at this time, the forms are available below. These forms may be printed at home and dropped off at the high school (by someone other than the QT student) by Friday, September 3rd to qualify for the Early Bird ticket price. These forms can be dropped off after September 3rd as well but the ticket cost is then $20.
Class Meeting Presentations
Being in-person with all of our students has given us the opportunity to hold class meetings with our 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students during this first week of school. After these meetings, we have shared the presentations directly with students via their GoCreek email accounts. Those class meeting presentations are also available below for reference.
Do you need a Student ID because you are new to BHS? Have you lost your Student ID from last school year? Student IDs are needed to get into school events, assist with purchasing lunch in the cafeteria and checking out items in the IMC, and can be used to earn rewards. First time ID cards are free of charge; a replacement ID is $3 and payment can be made via EZ-Pay. Students may request an ID by completing this Student ID Form. Students must login using their GoCreek account to complete the form. New and replacement IDs will not be ordered until after School Picture Day which is September 29th.
West Parking Lot
The West Parking Lot is now numbered! Starting Monday, August 30th, all students with a West Lot parking pass MUST park in their assigned spot. If someone is parked in your assigned spot, note the pass number of the person in your spot, come to the NORTH lot - park in a VISITOR'S spot and let the front office know the parking pass number of the person parked in your assigned spot. We will work to get this corrected ASAP. DO NOT take another person's spot as this causes a chain reaction which is more difficult to address.
