Parkwood had such an exciting celebration of reading over the past two weeks! Students participated in our Read-a-Thon to raise money to get a book vending machine for our school. They took part in Spirit Days, including dressing up as characters from their favorite books, and spent lots of time reading. We also had the Book Fair, which included the Pencil Pull fundraiser. The Pencil Pull earned $166 in donations for our Reading with Ruby program! With these additional funds, the program will have enough books for every KG-5th grade student at the beginning of next year. Great job, Panthers!
