Bullying is behavior that is intentional, repeated, and involves a real or perceived imbalance of power.
Bullying may include:
- Physical aggression
- Verbal harassment
- Social exclusion
- Threats or intimidation
- Cyberbullying
- Spreading rumors or gossip

Intentional Behavior
Bullying involves actions intended to cause harm, embarrassment, fear, or discomfort.
Repeated Behavior
Bullying typically occurs repeatedly over time, although a serious single incident may also warrant intervention.
Imbalance of Power
The student being targeted may have difficulty defending themselves because of a real or perceived difference in power, strength, status, or influence.

Reports may be made by:
- Contacting a principal or building administrator
- Speaking with a counselor

Substantiated reports of bullying are addressed in accordance with district policies and student handbooks.
Consequences are determined based on:
- Student age
- Severity of the behavior
- Impact on others
- Prior incidents
