Homeschooling

Families in Ohio may choose to educate their children at home in accordance with Ohio law. Parents or legal guardians who elect to homeschool assume responsibility for their child's educational program, including curriculum selection, instruction, and educational materials. Beavercreek City Schools works with families to ensure that all required notifications and documentation are completed in accordance with Ohio Department of Education guidelines.

Getting Started

Families interested in homeschooling should notify the Superintendent annually as required by the Ohio Department of Education.

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

    • Social Studies
  • Submit an annual notification to the superintendent.
