Counseling Services

Beavercreek City Schools offers a multi-tiered system (MTSS) of support to identify and respond to students’ varying academic and emotional needs.  Utilizing a MTSS framework helps to ensure students have access to the right level of care based on their individual needs. Our team includes school counselors, school social workers, and mental health therapists from the Greene County Educational Service Center and Catalyst Counseling, working together to support students’ academic, social-emotional, and mental health needs.

Through this collaborative, tiered model, students may receive universal support and prevention services, targeted short-term interventions, or more individualized mental health counseling when they need additional support. By working together with students, families, and school staff, our counseling team helps create a supportive environment where every student can feel connected, supported, and ready to learn.

School Counselors

Beavercreek City Schools employs a dedicated team of school counselors to assist students with academic planning, career exploration, and social-emotional development. Please visit the building page to learn about the school counselors in each building.

School Social Workers

Beavercreek City Schools' Social Workers partner with students, families, administrators, and staff to support the social, emotional, behavioral, and academic well-being of students. Through collaboration, advocacy, and problem-solving, school social workers help remove barriers to learning and connect students with the resources and supports they need to succeed.

School-Based Mental Health: Catalyst Counseling, LLC

All secondary buildings have Catalyst Mental Health Therapists who work collaboratively with students and families to identify approaches and interventions that best support each client’s individual needs, experiences, and goals. Having mental health services available within the school building helps reduce barriers to accessing therapeutic support by minimizing wait times, allowing students to remain in school rather than miss class for appointments, reducing conflicts with after-school activities and jobs, and eliminating the need for transportation to and from appointments. Please reach out to your child’s school counselor for more information or make a referral online through the Catalyst Counseling, LLC website.
