Ankeney's Power of the Pen teams recently competed in the Regionals at Wittenberg University! Amelia Heacock, James Wang, and Annie Casto received their Best of Round awards from the district competition.
Our students continued to showcase their writing abilities, with James Wang placing 3rd out of almost 60 seventh graders, Alice Pak placing 2nd, and Lucinda Gilmore-Junker placing 9th out of almost 70 eighth graders.
In team awards, our eighth-grade team placed 3rd out of 22 schools, and our seventh and eighth-grade teams combined to take 2nd place overall. Congratulations on your accomplishments, students! 🖤🧡 #PowerofthePen
