The Beavercreek Girls Soccer Program attended the TOPs Special Needs Soccer Camp for the 12th year. The team worked with the kids to help them with their soccer skills. It was an excellent time for all, but a highlight of the day was the wheelchair Hot Wheels Soccer Game.

Tonight's BHS Varsity Football game against Ponitz at Welcome Stadium has been postponed. The game has been reschedule for Saturday, Aug. 26. The game will still be played at Welcome Stadium, with a kickoff at 7 p.m.

Mark your calendars! Tryouts for Girls Golf will be Monday, July 31, and Tuesday, August 1. Tryouts will begin at the Beavercreek Golf Club at 9:03 am and 9:39 am. Tryouts are open to all 9th-12th grade BHS girls.

Reminder for all BHS students planning to participate in a fall sport this year - Physical evaluation forms must be completed via Final Forms before practices and tryouts start. Football players must complete theirs by July 24 and all other fall sports by July 31.

On June 27, 2023, Beavercreek High School incoming senior and Varsity Swim Team member Chloe Otten completed the Strait of Messina Swim, a two-mile swim across the Mediterranean Sea from Punta Faro, Sicily, to Cannitello, Calabria, Italy. She finished first out of the 30 people chosen to participate in this swim.

🏀 This basketball season, there will be a new, but a familiar face as the head coach of the Beavercreek High School Girls Basketball team. Former assistant coach, Aric Seilhamer was named the new head coach when Ed Zink retired after coaching for 46 years. Coach Seilhamer is a 1996 Beavercreek City Schools (BCS) alumnus and has taught and coached in the BCS district for 20 years. 🏆 Join us in congratulating Officer Barry Wisecup of the City of Beavercreek Police Department who received the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award by The Greene Optimist Club for his "dedication to serving others and fostering a respect for law."
Officer Wisecup is the school district's D.A.R.E. officer and is currently teaching our fifth- and sixth-grade D.A.R.E. curriculum to students. He conducts over 42 classes each year and runs the D.A.R.E. camp every summer at Camp Birch!
