Mrs. Hogston and Mrs. Hughes' friends discussed and explored different things about ice! They talked about how ice is formed and what would melt ice best. They compared salt melting ice and sugar melting ice by pouring a water solution on top to see which would be faster to melt our ice chunks. We decided that salt is used to melt ice on the roads and that our experiment showed us that the salt melts ice fastest!
