grinch art

Miss. Baroni, Mrs. Paddock, and Ms. Smith's class celebrated their 5th annual "Grinch Day".   As described by Miss. Baroni,  this year on Grinch day, students were very surprised to come in and see our room had been "Grinched." The grinch turned everything in our classroom green, wrote us a note, added other grinch decorations, and even tied up our classroom elf. Every inch of our room was different! After students read through his note and circled the letters they knew, we actually found the "Grinch" hiding in our room. We helped the Grinch restring our alphabet lights and pinned the heart on a Grinch cut out. After the Grinch left, we did a Max directed drawing, played a Grinch movement game, and enjoyed a Grinch snack!  In addition to Grinch Day, they also participated in "Reindeer Driving School".  These kids are ready to help deliver gifts and warm the heart of the grinch!
