🚓💙 Special Visitor at Parkwood Elementary! 💙🚓 In February, Mrs. Boettcher’s class at Parkwood Elementary had a special visit from Deputy Bowers of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department! 👮‍♀️✨ She answered students’ questions about her job and responsibilities, giving them an inside look at what it means to serve and protect. The highlight? 📢✨ Parkwood Spelling Bee Champions! 🐝📖 On January 31, Parkwood held its annual Spelling Bee, featuring 18 incredible spellers from our 4th and 5th grade classes. After 23 intense rounds, we crowned our champion: 🏆 Winner: Saketh Sajay (5th Grade) 🥈 Runner-Up: Addie Adducchio (5th Grade) Saketh will go on to represent Parkwood at the Regional Spelling Bee at Wright State University on March 7, 2025—good luck! 🍀👏 Before the competition, we also recognized the top classroom spellers from our K-3 classes—congrats to all of our amazing spellers! 🏅✨ Way to go, Parkwood students! 🎉📚 #ParkwoodProud #SpellingBee #HardWorkPaysOff
