Parent Communications Guide
ONEVIEW
What it is for: Completing online Student Demographic information (address, parent emails, emergency contacts, preferred nicknames, etc.) and Emergency Medical Authorization forms. This replaces the paper forms used in the past. NOTE: The information in this system is used for all other systems. If your address, email, or phone number are incorrect here, they will be incorrect in all other systems.
How to access it: Link to OneView Parent Portal
How to streamline notifications: No notifications are sent from OneView.
How to get help: For Beavercreek-specific support, visit the OneView page on the Beavercreek City School’s website or email oneviewquestions@gocreek.org.
PARENTSQUARE
What it is for: Parent-school communication, sharing files, sign-ups, etc.
How to access it: Link to ParentSquare or use the ParentSquare App
How to manage notifications: You can manage your notifications in the “My Account” section of ParentSquare. NOTE: You can select to receive notifications as items are posted or as a daily digest. A daily digest enables you to receive a single summary of all the items that were posted that day at a time you select. No matter how you have set up ParentSquare notifications, you will receive Alert notifications for important information, such as school delays or closures.
How to get help: Visit the ParentSquare page on the Beavercreek City School’s website or email Parentsquare@gocreek.org for Beavercreek-specific support.
ABRE
What it is for: Student data, including test scores, behavior information, and student discipline.
How to access it: Link to Abre - Use your personal “token” to set up your account. Token letters are delivered via ParentSquare secure documents.
How to streamline notifications: You can manage your notifications by clicking the bell icon within Abre.
How to get help: Contact the office staff of your child’s building.
PROGRESSBOOK
What it is for: Parent Access is used by teachers in grades 4-12 to share grading and report card information with parents. ProgressBook, the district’s gradebook program, is regularly updated by teachers with scores, missing assignments, etc. Parent Access allows parents/guardians to view these grade-related marks.
How to access it: Link to ProgressBook or use the mobile app
How to streamline notifications: You can manage your notifications in the “Alerts” section of the website or the “Notifications” section of the app. NOTE: Parents of children in grades 6-12 can select to receive an alert for missing assignments or low grades.
How to get help: Contact the office staff of your child’s building.
PAYSCHOOLS
What it is for: Paying school fees, including lunch fees
How to access it: Link to PaySchools Central or using the Mobile App
How to streamline notifications: You can manage your notifications in the “Notifications” section. NOTE: You can create alerts for low meal balances (when your child is low on lunch money), when school fees are added to your account, etc.)
How to get help: Visit the PaySchools Central page on the Beavercreek City School’s website or contact the office staff of your child’s building.
HAPARA
What it is for: Parent monitoring of students browsing on their district device outside of school hours.
How to access it: Link to Hapara Parent Portal
How to streamline notifications: You can manage your notifications in your parent Dashboard within Hapara.
NOTE: The Hapara Parent Portal enables parents to monitor and guide student browsing on district Chromebooks when/if it is used outside of school hours. All policies applied to student devices at school are automatically applied when they are working on the device at home. You can set additional restrictions with the parent portal for when your child works at home but cannot remove school restrictions. Hapara access information is delivered via ParentSquare secure documents.

FINAL FORMS
What it is for: Uploading Physical Forms for athletics and band-related activities.
How to access it: Link to the Final Forms Portal
How to streamline notifications: You will only receive emails from FinalForms for the following reasons: When your child’s physical is expiring, a change in your child’s eligibility status, if forms are missing, when fees are due, and when a coach or athletic office sends a message/update.
How to get help: Visit the FinalForms page on the Beavercreek City School’s website or contact the Athletic Office Staff.
