Kindergarten Registration

Welcome to Beavercreek City Schools!

We're excited to welcome your child to kindergarten. This page will guide you through eligibility requirements, enrollment steps, and the documents needed to complete registration.

Important: Enrollment must be completed at least five business days before the first day of school for students to begin on the first day.

How to Register Online

  • Kindergarten Eligibility for 2026-2027

    Under Ohio House Bill 114, children must be 5 years old on or before the first day of instruction to enroll in kindergarten.

    First Day of School: August 13, 2026

    Eligible Students: Children who turn 5 on or before August 13, 2026


    Early Entrance to Kindergarten

    Students who do not meet the age requirement may be considered through the district's Early Entrance process. Please click to learn more, click here for additional information regarding early entrance to kindergarten.

  • Online Registration

    All families must complete the online registration process through OneView.

    1. Create or log into your OneView account. 
    2. Select New Student Registration. (Even if your student shows up in OneView, please select "New Student Registration.")
    3. Complete and submit enrollment forms for each student.
    4. Receive confirmation and enrollment updates via email. (You will recieve an email from Beavercreek@esvmail.com titled “Beavercreek City Schools – Student Name Online Enrollment Form – Parent Info/Item Status Update”.  This email will list forms required to be uploaded through your OneView Account. Documents must be saved as PDF prior to upload as jpeg documents do not always work. iPhone documents are not supported and must also be sved as a PDF.
    5. Upload required documents.

  • Required for All Students

    • Birth Certificate, Passport, or Birth Record
    • Parent/Guardian Government-Issued ID
    • Immunization Records
    • Proof of Residency

    Accepted documents include:

    • AES Ohio (DP&L) bill
    • CenterPoint Energy bill
    • Water bill

    Must:

    • Include name and service address
    • Be dated within the last 60 days

    Special Residency Circumstances

    Living with Family or Friends? 

    • Residence Affidavit required.
      • A Residence Affidavit (Must be on our form) is required if the student meets any of the following criteria:

        • Student is 18 years of age or older and is living with someone, other than parent/guardian, within the district.

        • Student (less than 18 years of age) and parent/guardian are living with a family member or friend who resides within the district.

    Building, Purchasing, or Renting a Home

    • Families who are in the process of building, purchasing, or renting a home within the district may use temporary residency documentation for initial enrollment.

      Acceptable documentation includes:

    • A signed purchase contract showing the property address and anticipated occupancy date.
    • A signed lease agreement (in effect for less than 45 days).
    • Closing documents signed by both the parent/guardian and seller that include the property address.

    A utility bill must be provided to the student's school within 30 days of enrollment.

    If the family is not yet physically residing at the address at the time of enrollment, a Superintendent Agreement is required. In accordance with Ohio law, the occupancy date may not exceed 90 calendar days from the student's first day of school.

  • After submitting your enrollment forms, you will receive an email from Beavercreek City Schools with instructions for uploading your required documents through OneView.

    Log back into the same OneView account used to complete registration and upload all required documents.

    Important: Documents must be uploaded as PDF files.

  • The Student Registration Office will review your enrollment forms and documents.

    If additional information is needed, a staff member will contact you.

    Once enrollment is complete, you will receive:

    • School assignment information
    • Start date information
    • Additional next steps, if applicable

  • Online Registration

    All families must begin the enrollment process through OneView.

    1. Create or log in to your OneView account.
    2. Select New Student Registration.
    3. Complete and submit the enrollment forms for each child individually.
    4. Submit all required forms before scheduling an appointment.

  • After submitting your online enrollment forms, contact the Board of Education Office to schedule an in-person enrollment appointment.

        • Student (less than 18 years of age) and parent/guardian are living with a family member or friend who resides within the district.

    Building, Purchasing, or Renting a Home

    • Superintendent Agreement required.
      • A Superintendent Agreement form is required if any of the following criteria applies:

        • Parent/Guardian is in the process of building, purchasing or renting a home and is not physically residing at the address until after the registration process; a signed purchase contract or lease is still required and must show the approximate move-in date. Per ORC, the occupancy date cannot exceed 90 calendar days from the student's first day of school.

    New Lease or Home Purchase

    • Temporary documentation may be accepted.
      • A new rental/lease agreement signed by the parent/guardian and the person or company renting the property can be used for initial registration (lease in effect for less than 45 days); however, a utility bill must be provided to the student’s school within 30 days of enrollment.

      • Closing Documents including property address and signed by both the parent/guardian and the seller can be used for initial registration (if less than 45 days); however, a utility bill must be provided to the student's school within 30 days of enrollment.

  • Bring all required documents to your scheduled appointment. Enrollment staff will review your paperwork, verify residency, and assist with any remaining enrollment requirements.

    To help ensure a smooth and efficient enrollment process, we encourage only parent(s) or legal guardian(s) to attend the appointment whenever possible. Students do not need to attend.

    Once enrollment has been processed, you will receive information regarding your student's school assignment and start date.

     

    In-person appointments will be held at the Beavercreek City Schools Central Office.
