Greene County Public Library System

The Greene County Public Library system serves residents of Greene County, with branches in Beavercreek, Bellbrook, Cedarville, Fairborn, Jamestown, Xenia and Yellow Springs.  Its collection includes hundreds of thousands of items, ranging from books and traditional audio and video recordings to periodicals, newspapers and downloadable audiobooks, eBooks, music and videos.

The library system circulates more than 2 million items each year among more than 86,300 registered borrowers countywide.  Any resident of Greene County may check out materials; the only requirement is a valid library card.  Access to digital materials is available via NetLibrary and The Mid-Ohio Library Digital Initiative. 

Library services include free outreach services, including delivery of materials to homebound individuals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities; interlibrary loan; wireless Internet access; digital collections and downloadable audiobooks; and free computer training, including classes in basic computer skills, use of the Internet and World Wide Web.
